01. Operator and scope

These Terms of Use apply to the AI Office desktop app, official website, related AI services and customer support provided by Synvola Grid LLC (“we,” “us” or “our”). Read these terms and the Privacy Policy before using the relevant services.

This page concerns a prerelease version. When installing or using the services, you should comply with the terms applicable at that time. If you use the services on behalf of an organization, you must have the appropriate authority. These terms do not limit rights granted by applicable law that cannot be excluded by contract.

02. Features and release status

AI Office is an office app for Mac. Currently enabled features include common opening, editing and saving of DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files, PDF reading, and AI writing assistance that requires an internet connection and consent. Actual capabilities depend on the version, file structure, system environment and available services.

Full PDF editing, a local template center, standalone Markdown / HTML editing, web search, image or video generation, cloud collaboration and MCP / CLI integrations are not currently enabled. Development plans, illustrations and sample content do not promise future features, release dates, compatibility or continued availability.

The Mac App Store version is still in release preparation. Final download channels, hardware requirements and minimum system versions will be announced at release. The interactive website preview is illustrative: it does not call live AI services or edit or save your Office files.

03. License and third-party rights

Subject to these terms and applicable licenses, you may use the app and services we provide on devices you are authorized to use. You must not impersonate us, misuse our branding, sell service access credentials or resell our hosted AI services without authorization.

AI Office includes open-source and third-party components governed by their own licenses. Rights granted under those licenses are not reduced by these terms, and third-party copyright, license and attribution notices must be preserved. Rights in the app’s branding and hosted services are separate from open-source code licenses.

Format names such as DOCX, XLSX and PPTX and names such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Apple and macOS belong to their respective rights holders. References explain file or platform compatibility and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation.

04. Free features, quotas and accounts

The first-release plan includes free basic editing and limited free AI. It currently has no in-app purchases, subscriptions or purchase restoration flow. We do not require payment card details or your own model API key in the app.

AI services use background installation identities and separate credentials for authentication, limits and abuse prevention. There is currently no visible personal account sign-up or sign-in flow. Request frequency, available models, output length and daily usage are subject to server-side limits. Quotas may change for cost, security or operational reasons. Unlimited use, constant availability and availability in every region are not guaranteed.

Exhausted quotas, network problems or suspended AI services do not change the independent purpose of local editing. If paid features are introduced later, prices, benefits, transaction and refund rules will be explained separately. These terms alone do not authorize automatic charges.

05. AI use, age and human review

Online AI features are only for users aged 18 or over, where permitted by applicable law and service availability. Decide whether to authorize AI after reading the explanation of data purposes and recipients. Local editing remains available if you do not consent.

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, similar to other users’ output or unsuitable for your purpose. Before adopting, sharing, relying on or adding output to important files, check facts, wording, formulas, values, references and formatting. AI output is not professional advice and should not be the sole basis for major decisions.

You must have the right to submit inputs and attachments for AI processing and comply with confidentiality, personal information and intellectual property obligations. Do not submit data you cannot disclose or materials that must remain in a restricted environment. AI transfers and third-party processing are described in the AI section of our Privacy Policy.

You can withdraw AI data consent in Settings → About. Withdrawal applies to subsequent content sharing and does not automatically undo completed processing or delete server-side security and usage records.

06. Your files, content and output

You retain your existing rights in input documents, data and other content. Solely to perform the features you request, operate the service securely and handle support issues, you permit us and necessary providers to process content you actually submit. These terms do not transfer ownership of your files to us.

You may use, modify or export AI output to the extent permitted by applicable law and third-party rights. We do not guarantee that output is copyrightable, original or exclusive, or free of third-party rights. Confirm the relevant rights and conditions before publication or commercial use.

07. Acceptable use

Use the app and online services lawfully and reasonably. You must not:

• Use them for unlawful activities or infringe another person’s privacy, intellectual property or other legal rights.
• Evade quotas or security controls through forged signatures, bulk registration, replayed requests, stolen credentials or other means.
• Attempt unauthorized access to servers, other people’s data, service keys or administrative interfaces, or disrupt or damage service operations.
• Use our services to distribute malware, commit fraud or engage in other abuse.

This section does not restrict conduct expressly permitted by open-source licenses or applicable law. Report security issues to our support email with the necessary information, without publicly disclosing active credentials or other people’s data.

08. Compatibility, backups and local operations

We support common Office formats but do not promise full compatibility with every application, file or format. Complex layouts, macros, advanced formulas, pivot tables, special fonts, animations and legacy DOC, XLS and PPT files may have limitations. PDF reading does not mean full PDF editing or all conversion features are available.

Back up important files and use copies before modifying or converting them. After saving, check document structure, appearance, calculations and behavior in the target application. Independently verify files intended for long-term archiving, precise calculations, formal submission or external distribution.

Folders, cloud drives, system backups and external storage you control are subject to their own service or system rules. Uninstalling AI Office does not necessarily delete all local files, backups or server-side records.

09. Third-party services and app store terms

AI features depend on connectivity, Cloudflare hosting infrastructure, OpenRouter, Google Gemini and other third-party services. Maintenance, regional availability, model supply, security policies and other conditions may affect them. We do not guarantee continued availability of third-party services and will adjust disclosures and consent where needed if services change.

If you obtain AI Office through the Mac App Store in the future, Apple’s store usage rules also apply. The applicable app license is determined by the license terms supplied in the store. These terms supplement the description of our services, do not represent Apple’s terms and do not reduce rights protected by Apple’s requirements or applicable law.

10. Changes, suspension and termination

We may adjust, limit or suspend online features to maintain security, comply with law, prevent abuse or respond to operational changes. Violations, credential leaks, attacks or serious risks may result in revocation of online access for a particular installation. For normal service changes with significant impact, we will provide appropriate advance notice where feasible.

You may stop using and uninstall the app or simply withdraw AI consent. Service discontinuation does not change applicable open-source licenses, your file rights or obligations that remain under law. Data deletion is governed by the Privacy Policy; stopping use or uninstalling is not a server-side deletion request.

11. Warranties and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and services are provided as they exist and as available. We do not guarantee they will be error-free, uninterrupted, suitable for every particular purpose or able to preserve every complex file feature. Assess suitability for each task and independently check AI output and file results.

The determination and scope of responsibility depend on applicable law and the facts. These terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or remove mandatory consumer protection, privacy or other rights. They do not impose a blanket denial of remedies to which you are legally entitled.

12. Updates and dispute resolution

We may update these terms as features, services or laws change and will display the update date on this page. Material changes will be notified through the website or appropriate in-app notices. Where explicit consent is legally required, continued use alone does not replace it.

If a problem arises, first contact us using the details below so we can try to resolve it. If no agreement is reached, you may seek relief from a competent authority or court under applicable law. These terms do not limit your legal right to bring claims where you live or complain to a supervisory authority.

If a provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. This page contains the current prerelease terms; the effective version after launch will be the version published at that time.
